  As my On-the-Job Training progressed through March and into April at the Philippine Statistics Authority, I experienced a powerful shift—from being guided and supervised to working with more confidence, independence, and a greater sense of purpose. These final months became the most meaningful part of my OJT journey, as I took on more responsibility, engaged with clients more deeply, and began to reflect on how much I had grown. At the BREQS (Batch Request Entry Query System) Office , I continued assisting with the processing of civil registry documents—such as birth, marriage, and death certificates, as well as Certificates of No Marriage (CENOMAR). I became more confident in handling document processing and data encoding, as accuracy and efficiency became second nature in my daily tasks. I was entrusted with more complex assignments such as verifying civil registry records, assisting clients with detailed inquiries, and ensuring that all documents adhered to PSA’s standards and guidelines. My first day as an OJT student at the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) was an insightful introduction to the agency’s role in data management and public service. The day began with an orientation, where I learned about PSA’s functions, office protocols, and the importance of maintaining accurate public records. After the briefing, I was assigned basic administrative tasks such as sorting and organizing documents, encoding public records into the system, and familiarizing myself with different record categories. Through data encoding, I realized how crucial accuracy and attention to detail are in maintaining reliable information. This initial experience gave me a better grasp of how structured documentation and efficient data management contribute to effective public service.
